Alexiel is da bomb. ^^; She's the Organic Angel, beautiful and strong.  She rebelled against the corruption in Heaven and fought to protect the Evils down in Hell (Kurai, most notably).  As punishment for this, she was doomed to be reincarnated into a human body, each one coming to a messy end.  Kira broke this cycle by shedding a tear for her.

Alexiel is somewhat different from Setsuna in that she has no problem with getting out a sword and doing some killing if she thinks it needs to be done. ^^; She's not cruel, but she's apparently rather ruthless on the battlefield.  Other than that, the two seem to be about the same--they're both very energetic and strongwilled, and they're fiercely protective of their friends.  So yeah.  I think Alexiel's pretty badass. ^^;
